The CamelBak Eddy + has a bite valve that opens by gently biting it. This silicone bite valve is connected to a straw which causes the liquid to rise as you suck. You therefore do not need to tilt the bottle while drinking. The drinking spout closes completely when you stop biting on it. If the bottle falls over, no problem; the liquid is well stopped by the bite valve.
