The GIGA JUL BELAY KIT is a belay set containing a GIGA JUL belay device and an HMS STRIKE SCREW carabiner. This device is suitable for ropes with a diameter of 7.1-10.0 mm and is certified with EN 15151-2 and EN 12275. It features a body made of ultra-light aluminum, areas susceptible to abrasion made of robust stainless steel, and a small eyelet for releasing the unit with a carabiner when bringing up your partner. This device also has a guide mode for simple and rapid abseiling and bringing up seconds plus comfortable belaying from a belay station as a doubled rope. Its assisted braking guide mode offers a brake boost for catching falls in leader mode, and the rope can be paid out faster in assisted braking guide mode by holding the device in the ‘open’ position with the thumb.
