The Edelrid HMS Strike Screw is a very compact and lightweight HMS carabiner, ideal for alpine climbing. It features a keylock closure mechanism for optimum handling when clipping and unclipping, and an H-profile construction that ensures the best possible use of material and minimal weight. It is certified to both EN 12275 and EN 362 and is made from aluminium. The gate opening is 19 mm, and the carabiner has a major axis strength of 22 kN, a minor axis strength of 8 kN, and an open gate strength of 7 kN.
