The EDELRID Static Float 11,0MM is a professional static rope designed for frequent abseiling. It is made of a braided core for maximum durability and high edge stability, and a twined and shrunk sheath construction for maximum abrasion resistance and minimal shrinkage. The rope also features bright colors for good visibility. It is certified to the highest safety standard for static ropes (EN 1891 Type B), and has a diameter of 11mm, a knotability of 0.80, a core proportion of 59%, and a sheath proportion of 41%. It has a minimum breaking strength of 18kN, a static elongation of less than 5%, and a minimum breaking strength with standard sewn terminations of 15kN. It has a minimum breaking strength in figure-of-eight knot of 12kN.
