The EDELRID Static Low Stretch 10,5mm is the number one choice for precise work on and with ropes. Its minimum elongation enables effortless rope climbing, making it an ideal companion when working at heights. The low residual elongation also enables precise work when rigging (rescue) loads and during work positioning. This static rope is made from a multiple-wound polyester sheath, which results in elongation values of less than 2%. It is thermo-shield treated for pleasant handling and features tracer threads in the rope sheath to indicate the rope diameter. The EDELRID Static Low Stretch 10,5mm is highly abrasion and cut resistant with a core proportion of 58%, sheath proportion of 42%, shrinkage H20 of 2%, and a weight per meter of 74g/m. It has a minimum breaking strength of 30kN, static elongation of 1.9%, and minimum breaking strength in figure-of-eight knot of 19kN and meets EN 1891 Type A safety certification.
